OPERATION NO GOING BACK UPDATE
Remember my story about how almost 2 years ago I flew to Guatemala to hook up with some girl?
Well guess what: as of July this past summer, we're ENGAGED!
That's right!
After 2 more trips to Guatemala, and her visiting here, I, with a Ring bought from Macys, am now engaged.
Edith Evelyn Rodriguez, the Star of "OPERATION NO GOING BACK" is soon to be Edith Duncan.
A few things have changed since Operation No Going Back:
1. She speaks WAY MORE english. She's in denial, saying her english sucks but she's taking english classes and can speak very well.
2. We almost never use translators when speaking online
3. We can talk on the phone, for almost a hour without using translators
4. I met her parents. I stayed at their house on one trip 2 weekends, and then this past July I stayed with them the entire time. They think I am awesome.
5. I left the job I was at and now work a different contract while I am studying to get my bachelors degree.
I also spoke to Eve the other day about OPERATION NO GOING BACK and learned something: That weekend, she went in thinking it would only be a fling or a adventure. Never in her, or my wildest dreams did I think we would end up being married. Oh and we're probably going to get married in Guatemala. Get those passports ready!
