The Buried Life

What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?

Okay guys, we are officially doing a countdown. :) Im going to catch everyone up on whats happened and add a few recent adventures that I have had. I just got back from Tennessee to see my grandparents before I left for the Navy. Boy if that didnt make me feel guilty about leaving, I dont know what would. Seeing my mom and Grandma cry wasnt my favorite thing in the whole world. As soon as we got back, I threw my bags in my room and dumped them out on the bed, grabbed a few clean articles of clothing and went straight to Becca's house where we left immidiatly to go to see Paranormal Activity. It was pretty good, but the best thing about that was after, we went back to Becca's and she told me she had finally found the graveyard we had been searching for since...like a year ago. we got all bundled up b/c it was freezing, and went to see what was up. We found headstones from the mid 1800's!!!! It was sooooo cool.

okay, but I promised you guys to tell you about the Bahamas in a little more detail so here it is: When we went down the Florida, we drove to Melbourne. Thats where one of my best friends, Cigi, lives! It was me and the Two Caitlin/Caitlynns. We hung out there for a few days and then on the morning of the 10th, we left to go down to Ft. Lauderdale to catch our shuttle and get to our ship. Well skip through all the boarding crap and stuff like that: we did Karioke (atleast I did) and ate random pizza from the deli type thing at 3 am. We finally went to bed and woke up and ported in Nassau. We went snorkeling and let me tell you, the water is SALTY. It is about 10x saltier than any ocean I have ever been in, but it was so clear and blue and just plain beautiful. If anyone ever gets the chance to go to the Bahamas, take it. We all had such a great time and it was amazing. I got alot of things done on my list and im so grateful for the experiences I had.

But now is the serious part, I wanted to thank all of you who participate on this website and try to take this giant task of living exceptional lives. Everyone in the community has been amazing, especially the creators (Ben, Dave, Jonnie, and Duncan). And I hope the TV show is a great hit! I wont have access to a TV until the last week of December or the first week of January, so I think im going to miss it. :( but good luck and Ill try to get on here and tell you all about the beginning of my new life as soon as I can. I might have someone post my address on here for boot camp, and letters are the number one joy of a recruit's life in basic training, so anyone who wants to write, I will appreciate anything you have to say and any news you wanna share about the outside world.

God Bless you all,

Hillary Welch (future USA Sailor)
