Confession: I haven't thought about my buried life for waaay too long now. Well, it's not exactly Jack Nicholson, per se, but coming up at Christmas, if you haven't heard yet, Jack and the illustrious Morgan "Stone Cold" Freeman are starring in The Bucket List, a film about two cancer patients who escape from a hospital ward to go on a world-wide roadtrip, accomplishing things they want to do before they die. In our culture completely satiated with irony, I'm looking for earnest. I declare I am in love with Earnest, in fact, and am aware of the importance of being it, and am prepared to tag along with it when it goes to camp, goes to a haunted house, and even when he goes to jail. I'm prepared to be surprised, disappointed, aghast and delighted. He might not be the coolest guy around, but I really dig his vibes.
