This project hooked me right away. As I stand on the brink of adult life and the beginning of my career, I have to ask myself, "What in God's name do I really want?" I've been a wandering soul forever. I'm usually not happy staying in one place on this planet for too long. Which is why, over the last few months following college graduation (and no job yet), I haven't taken too well to sitting at home polishing my resume and scouring the internet for jobs. Then I discovered this project, and it at least got me thinking positively about the future. I was at about #80 on my list when I realized something: I almost forgot about the amazing things I've already done. Let's see...I've:

1. Climbed to the top of Michelangelo's dome at Saint Peter's.
2. Gone on a hot air balloon ride.
3. Caught (and cooked and ate) a salmon.
4. Stood at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
5. Earned a degree, with honors.
6. Went on a road trip from New Mexico to Indiana.
7. Taken on a mechanical bull (twice).
8. Was the youngest artist to create a unique piece for a public art project at age 16, which raised over $4,000 for the Red Cross.
9. Flew to Colorado to take a workshop with my designer/Flash hero, Joshua Davis.
10. Was the first in my family to try sushi, and many other foods.
11. Successfully snuck into several resorts in my area, only to use the hot tub.
12. Switched from a car to a moped at a stoplight in Rome (I knew both drivers-sort of).
13. Lived abroad for 4 months, during which time I dated someone from another country and kissed someone who spoke absolutely no English.
14. Beaten a guy at darts, pool, and golf.
15. Speaking of golf, won $100 for sinking a 49 foot putt in a golf tournament this summer.
16. Ate 2 blazing wings at Buffalo Wild Wings..
17. Shotgunned a beer at the top of a (haunted? maybe) lighthouse.

And more. So, as I move forward to crossing things off my list, I want to also remember what I've done and where I've been. It's all part of the journey.
