broken child in need of tlc.

i have got to be the most injury prone person you will ever meet. I'm currently typing with one hand, because (yay me!) i broke my effin wrist AGAIN. This is the third time i have broken A wrist, and the second time i have broken this one. (you don't even wanna know how many bones i've broken altogether, or worse, how many concussions ive had, though they may explain alot :P) Everytime i hurt myself snowboarding there is the fleeting thought that maybe i should take it easy, ride less, try less… Continue

Meghan,

Nice list. If I can throw a suggestion your way for Goal 2, I would ask you to contemplate this quote:

"The greatest wisdom doesn't know itself. The richest plan is not to have one."

As someone is absolutely anal about planning everything I can say that the best road trips are impromptu and spontaneous. I would suggest having a good soudtrack, some back-up money, a camera and let everything else just come together.

For inspiration I strongly suggest the movie "Elizabethtown".

Bon voyage!

I did a complete tour of Northern and Southern Ireland. More than 3000 years of history there. It is really quite humbling (being Canadian with very little history) and overwhelming trying to keep track of all the peoples, their histories, the ruins, castles, etc. I loved Dublin. I think as a young person you will reaaaally love it. People don't seem to entertain in their homes so much. Everyone goes to the pubs. The streets of Dublin are always filled with people. It is a very lively city that loves to have a good time. I highly recommend that you go there after graduation. You will fall in love with Ireland and its people. They are very easy going, clean, casual, friendly and happy people who love to have a good time.....just like us;) There are over 10,000 pubs in Ireland, many of them go back hundreds of years and they are extremely inviting places....not that i spent a lot of time in the pubs, i was too busy seeing everything else. You will love it over there. If I were you I would visit Dublin and also go across to the west coast and visit the ring of kerry, the Dingle peninsula etc.....spectacular scenery! I can send you some pictures of Ireland if there are any you would like. I have about 800 of them. All the best, Ryan

Hi Meghan, i see that you are my daughter's age, beautiful and blond like her and a singer just like her as well. I noticed also that you want to go to Ireland. I just got back from their and had a great time! With a name like Meghan Patrick you must have lots of Irish in your blood. That guarantees you will love Ireland. You'll know yourself even better when you get back from Ireland. Hope you get there real soon. Cheers, Ryan
