Something amazing happened!

Well, I've been away for about a month, and I have to say, it's been a whirlwind! Here's some of the stuff that's been going on:

I didn't make it through to the end of Nanowrimo, but I did make it farther than I ever have before. I'm still working on it, too, and I'm pleased to say that it's really coming along!

I was in a musical, but not how I thought I would be....

When I got to school one day and found a poster for auditions for the years musical, I knew that it was a perfect oppertunity to cross #18 off my list! The musical, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, seemed like fun, and I did really well at auditions, but it seemed as though it wasn't meant to be when I got sick on the day of callbacks! Japan!

Over the summer I got to cross one off my list. I went to Japan for two weeks!

I've been saving up for this trip for the past three years. I fundraised like crazy, even got a job, and I finally made it there! I had to borrow a couple hundred from my parents, but I'm only about $200 away from having it all paid off!

Prior to joining:

I actually was sent to this site by a friend, before you could become a member, and thought it was really cool. So for the past while I've been jotting down things that I want to do with my life. So far I have recently accomplished one, and am working on another one. This summer, I got a job, fundraised a LOT, and paid my entire 2-week exchange trip to Japan! *but iam gunna youtube after this* Any chance you have any photos of the show? I wish i had the guts to get on a stage infrount of loads of people and act/sing. heheh Oh my gosh i just relised, thank godness iam not doing the list in order that would be wierd. Always wanted to get a tatto but never had the guts to get it done anyway to cut a long story short i got a small chinese symbol for friends on my right ankle, Hurt sooooo much. If you need some help learning Japanese, I can point you towards some good textbooks and other various language-learning things. :) I've been speaking Japanese for 6 years, thanks to school, and It's cool to see someone else interested in such an awesome language.
