Why being a performer is so important to me....
I grew up in a small town, Leduc Alberta. I would tell people i was from "LA" because thats where i have always wanted to be.. My dance studio was called L.A dance academy, and people would assume I danced in Los Angles, when in reality it stood for Leduc Alberta. But that was my little secret!! Growing up, i was influenced by my mom, Leslie Bristowe, who was an original member of the Alberta Ballet Company. My mom was always (and still is) a performer. She taught me jazz, tap, ballet, and musical theatre my whole life. Its just in us to perform. My mom would always tell me to dance with my heart and my feet would follow. I have always had a passion for it. It was time to move on from my small town. Bigger and better things were in store for me. At the age of 20, i auditioned for the B.C. Lions CFL cheer team. Where i ended up making the team and living in a new city where i experienced the next chapter of my life. I have been fortunate to meet a lot of very talented individuals and be a part of this industry. the ONLY downside is its expensive to keep up my training and passion for singing and dancing. I am creating this profile in hope to catch somebody's attention to recognize my dedication and love for this art. In conclusion, I want to go after any opportunity and approach everything with the attitude of living like it's your last day on earth.
