I marked another goal off my list. This weekend I attended the International Dragon Boat Festival.
What makes it such a big deal to me to mark this one off is not the actual activity.
Even though I travel all over these United States all of the time alone and have to deal with strangers 48 weeks out of the year, I am still uncomfortable doing things (for fun) by myself.

After some time focusing on others (and loving it), I remembered that I need to also focus on myself and my list. Today I marked two more off my list: Going to the Great Reno Balloon Race and Riding in a hot air bollon.
The Race was awesome, yet cold, but well worth the drive and lack of sleep.
I have to admit though, I am not a fan of ballooning. I am tall and that flame was right above my head!

I just crossed three more goals off my list:

Going to Hawai'i and watching the sunrise, visiting an active volcano and riding in a helicopter!

Unfortunatley, rental cars are not allowed to drive the "Road to Hana".

Next time I will drive out there with a member of my new ohana I have made in the past week.

I just got news that a client in Hawai'i needs me to come out there in January.

Wooo-whooo!

I have never been to Hawai'i and it is on my list, along with visiting an active volcano, driving the road to Hana and watching a fire-walking ceremony.

I may even be able to throw out a message in a bottle.

I'm so excited to get this opportunity.
