Yes, Australia is an amazing place, and I do appreciate it, every single day! I'm 18 months out from spending a month in Queensland, trekking, scuba diving, white-water rafting and backpacking. YAY! Looking forward to that, though my trip to Peru 6 months later is almost all consuming at the moment! 1 month learning Spanish, 4 months volunteer work at an orphanage and building a school, and 2 months trekking across the Andes. w00t!
In case you couldn't tell, I love (LOVE) extreme sports, though I draw the line at bungee jumping: Can't tell the point of jumping off of a perfectly good bridge with only an elastic band to stop you going 'splat'.
I'd love to work something out with the whole Spanish/Australia thing! I've been looking for a penpal who can correct my grammar etc. Still trying to figure out stuffs - like, words *lol* - though!!!
Welcome to the Buried Life! I love your goals - we never let those we love know how much they mean to us without prompting so your letter goal is my favourite, though getting married in Disney Land has gotta be up there as well! I actually live about 90 minutes from Sydney, Aus.! It's a cool place, though there's not enough money in the world to make me live there. I'm a country girl through and through, but I'm loving living on the coast at the moment though (my degree has taken me to living in a relatively big city for the first time in my life). I guess you'd know all about coastal living, being from Florida, though! lol. Anyway, just wanted to welcome you to our little community! Hope you enjoy!
