Wonderful list, Annie. I am rooting for you, girl. I just graduated from a women's college and it was truly a unique experience. Great idea about the road trip as well...let me know if you guys ever end up in Chicago! And hey, if you achieve the vegetarian goal, let me know! I'm going for one year! Also, I loved your one about owning an island. I actually grew up on one.

Hi! I just read through your list and self-summary and I realized that, like you, people on this site are going to change the world. Even if we never accomplish everything on our lists, just bringing awareness to these issues we're passionate about makes a difference. Thank you for inspiring me!!

If any of your lists include helping a charity, I volunteer for an organization called HALO, Helping and Loving Orphans. It was founded by Betty Tisdale, a woman who truly changed my life. She took things into her own hands and saved over 200 orphans from certain death in Viet Nam. To this day, she is working to build more orphanages and improving some in countries like Mexico, Afghanistan, and Viet Nam. Visit www.bettytisdale.com for more information. Please, donate, or even just tell your friends!

April 2009-Another update

I have decided to take a gap year, and not return to the East Coast for college. There are two distinct cultures on the two coasts, and I tend to fit in better on the West Coast. Also, a women's college is a very stressful environment!
Lastly, the latest financial crisis hit me pretty hard, so I think working for a year could only benefit me.

Anyway, I've finally uploaded my whole list! Whew.

Congrats to the boys on their new TV show! And their extremely inspiring accomplishments. Hopefully th… Continue

Life update

My last discussion was a little bit of a downer (my bad!) and so I would like to say a few more things going on in my life.
Well, it is now summer of 2008 and I graduated high school and have been enrolled in an all-women's college on the east coast. My grade point average was the highest it has ever been, and I got a beautiful laptop as a present. I left in good terms with every single one of my friends (I think!). I also moved out and am now working a summer job in a completely different state… Continue

More things for my list

Out of order, here are some other ideas I want to pursue: Get my pilot's license, throw a prom in juvenile detention, publish some of my art/photography/writing, find Peggy on Broadway and give her a REAL breakfast, lose ten pounds, reduce the effects/influences of wealth, donate to ten charities, make the world a happier place (smile at EVERYONE), talk to the president of the US, build my own home, save someone's life, plant over 100 trees, save the rainforest, make a gluten-free cookbook, find… Continue
