how can you achieve your goal if you have so much fears?

I am so encourage by people who have guts to be strong and fearless. I watc man vs. wild to make me encouraged watch happy movie and read books that has something to do with human struggle and triumph. I am so overwhelmed by their courage and fearlessness... but im faced with the fact that i could never do it. I have panick attack anxiety and depression and i wanna break free from this. One time i tried to bike Malibu Canyons and feel great to be out to be one with nature and i feel strong and alive as if i own that moment i was biking 5 miles suddenly i realized im alone in the trail.... and fears started to escalate my heart starts to beat fast and im running out of air i was so close to the top view and had to go back and that moment was ruined because i was so absorbed about the fears i have the whgat if's.... these are just few of the thing that impedes me from achieving my goal and if it happens all the time i would just be a mere person who writes the goals ONLY in paper.

Whenever fear knocks at the door, let faith answer it. And, if you think your faith is not enough, then start strengthening it right after you read the last word of this sentence.

i have a good friend who suffers from anxiety/panic attacks and she is getting through this as well. the one thing she always says when she is about to give up on something b/c she is scared is "im going to do this." its her motivation and strong faith that everything is going to be ok that gets her going. i know its hard and it may take a while, but patience is another thing that is not easily learned. i guess you just have to be hard headed. good luck!

Re-frame your thinking. The moment you start thinking negative thoughts, alter it. Yes, it is difficult but it can be done. For instance, if the thought "I am alone" passes through your mind, and is the thought that is what stirs up the fear, counter it with something else. For instance "But someone knows where I have gone and knows when I'll be back". Or "I have a cell phone and can call for help if needed". Or "I was fine up until now, and nothing has changed". Or any other thing that you can think of.

It takes a lot of practice, and sometimes even rehearsal *ahead* of time.
