Summer 2009

Hello all! I was just noticing that a lot of people have similar goals. I was thinking that we could get something organized together, like a road trip next summer or a group trip somewhere. We should probably plan WAY ahead, though. If anyone has any input, lets all talk about it here! We could even get the guys to help us out, but I think so much can happen if we all work on getting things done together!

Nope didn't happen... would'a could'a should'a, but most who really wanted to were just not old enough YET. parents nervous, funds low etc. Great dream though had a lot of fun thinking about it.

i LOVE road trips!
I could do a trip like this in my sleep. BUT... when it gets close to the time.. that is when reality and fear set in. That is why we all stop worrying about our bucket list.. This trip is not about seeing things... its about doing...! We can all see things in pictures and with todays technology, that is amazing!!! but doing thngs? that is the life! the Life not done, experienced or... well, buried... doing things! going on the road that is what it is about... And although everyone, and I mean everyone could experience this and love to see everything... It's really about what we do along the road. A lot of people that wanted to do this... they didn't know they had amazing things to get ready for! Like a last summer before college! OMG that is the best summer. No summer after highschool is ever the same. And at least one guy had amazing events planned that topped a road trip by a long shot.
I've done road trips which is why I felt so great about doing this with so many people, and even kids just out of (or still in) highschool, because I had experience to help make it smooth. For me, the trip was about the doing... finding people and places where we could check off goals. Waterfalls where we could jump off, swim under, shower in! Places we could learn to yodel, canyons to scream in, places to experiance life, buried or not!

I would leave tomorrow and go pick everyone up if we could do it! But the "unburied" life holds many dreams too! My boys are in school and I love watching them learn to read, Some of you I talked to are graduationg highschool and starting College! So wow, can this still happen YES!!! Does it have to happen, not if it's going to mess up the rest of your buried life.

If any wants to make it happen, lets talk about what we are going to do! Driving is the easy part. America is an amzing AND WELCOME place to road trippers. What are we going to DO though? Wow how cool would this be!
